The QWEL course and exam are FREE. Lunch and breakfast snacks will be provided.  The exam will be held the afternoon of the 28th (must pass the exam with a 75% and submit the virtual audit to obtain QWEL certification). 

When: 

Tuesday, March 26th, 8a.m.-5p.m.

Wednesday, March 27th 8a.m.-5p.m.

Thursday, March 28th 8a.m.-5p.m. Final day will include QWEL certification exam.

 

Presenters: Brian Vinchesi & Keith Schweiger

Brian Vinchesi received a degree from Montana State University in agricultural (irrigation) engineering and, since 1988, has been the President of Irrigation Consulting, an irrigation design and consulting firm. Irrigation Consulting performs irrigation consulting services throughout the United States and overseas. He is responsible for field evaluation, construction administration, and project management. He is a member of the Golf Course Builders Association of America's (GCBAA) Certification Board of Governors and a past president of the Irrigation Association and the American Society of Irrigation Consultants. He serves on many Irrigation Association committees, including serving as the current chair of the Landscape Advocacy Committee, the past chair of the Smart Water Applications Technology initiative, as well as the IA Standards and Codes Committee. He is a LEED-AP, the 2015 Irrigation Association Industry Achievement Award Winner, and a 2009 EPA WaterSense Irrigation Partner of the Year.

Keith S.

Keith Schweiger is a technical sales representative for Calsense, covering CO, WY, UT, KS, and MO. He has spent 18 years in distribution, and has 36 plus years of experience in the irrigation industry. He is a Certified Landscape Water Manager (CLWM), Certified Irrigation Designer (CID), Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor (CLIA), Certified Irrigation Contractor (CIC), and Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT). He is also an EPA WaterSense Partner and QWEL certificate holder. He has been involved with the Irrigation Association instructor core for the last 20 years. He has spoken and taught at many local and regional conferences on irrigation matters and is a past Chair of the Irrigation Association Education Committee.
