The California Community Colleges Agriculture, Water, and Environmental Technology Sector is pleased to offer the opportunity to become QWEL certified at Cosumnes River College.
This QWEL exam is available only to students enrolled in the Sustainable Water Management class (HORT 353) at CRC.
The exam will be held in the Northeast Technical Building; Room NTB-111.
The QWEL reference manual is available as a FREE DOWNLOAD, or for purchase in paperback.
The QWEL exam is a closed book exam that consists of 100 multiple choice questions based on the learning objectives laid out in sections 1 to 9 of the QWEL reference manual. The passing grade for the QWEL exam is 75 out of 100. The time limit to take the exam is 3-hours. The exam includes the use of a calculator to perform the types of calculation explained in the reference manual such as those used when performing an irrigation audit and when creating an irrigation schedule. A formula sheet will be provided to participants.
