The QWEL training will be facilitated live over a Zoom webinar by one of our highly rated QWEL certified instructors and is available to professionals living or conducting business in the Bay Area region. Cal Water cities included are Palomar Park, San Carlos, San Mateo, Unincorporated Areas of Redwood City, South San Francisco, Broadmoor, Coma, Daly City, King City, Livermore, Atherton, Portola Valley, Redwood City, Woodside, Skyline, Menlo Park, Los Trancos, Cupertino, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Salinas, Country Meadows, Las Palmas, Salinas Hills, Las Lomas, Watsonville/Royal Oaks, Oak Hills/Castroville, Bolsa Knolls, Buena Vista, and Foothill Estates.

Attendees are encouraged to download the manual for free here or purchase a paperback copy from Amazon here prior to the class.
In order to obtain QWEL certification, individuals must complete a virtual irrigation audit (covered in class) and pass the QWEL exam. The QWEL exam will be offered the week of December 19th. Exams will be administered online, and students will be required to pay an exam fee (approximately $30).

Those who earn their QWEL certification will be listed as a Certified Professional on the QWEL and U.S. EPA WaterSense websites. |
SCHEDULE DETAILS
The QWEL online training will be offered in 2.5-hour EVENING sessions for two weeks Monday to Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. beginning Monday, December 5th.
By registering for this class, you are committing to attend all eight of the 2.5-hour sessions. The QWEL exam will be offered in the week of December 19th. Note that registrants will receive a link to additional pre-recorded content, which should be viewed prior to the start of the class.

Since the launch of his independent eco-landscape contracting firm in 2011, Christopher Reamer has worked extensively throughout California at the cutting edge of landscape water conservation. Awarded the "Water Awareness of the Year” award in 2013 from the City of Santa Rosa for extensive work with the development of greywater, rainwater and high-efficiency irrigation systems, Chris has instructed over 40 landscape water conservation trainings in both English and Spanish, installed over 60 greywater irrigation systems and numerous water efficient landscapes for diverse clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
