Rainwater is a valuable resource that when collected and stored, can be used as an alternative water source helping offset the demand on existing water systems, such as wells, and municipal water. Water is a precious resource in California and rainwater catchment is one strategy that can help protect this resource. The purpose of this training is to introduce landscape installers and other water system professionals to the basics of rainwater catchment system design and installation.

In order to receive a certificate of completion for the training, you must pass the exam with at least a 75% passing rate and participate in in-field instruction.
Class presentations Tuesday April 21st, and Wednesday April 22nd from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
The exam will take place on Wednesday, April 22nd after presentations
The hands-on installation and networking will take place on April 23rd- 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Location address will be disclosed at a later time.
