QWEL Certification, Quality Water Efficient Landscaper 2 day training. Wednesday, November 6 , and Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Lunch is included both days.) Test to be given Friday, November 8, 2019 8:00 to 11 a.m. Training sponsored by USU, UNLA and WCWCD.
QWEL is one of six approved US EPA WaterSense Irrigation Auditor certification programs in the nation.
QWEL provides 20 hours of educational training in irrigation system design & maintenance, programming & operation.
Qualified Water Efficient Landscapers (QWEL) are recognized by QWEL the EPA WaterSense program, the Central Iron County Water Conservancy District, USU Extension, Washington County Water Conservancy District & the Utah Nursery and Landscape Association as landscape professionals that are making a positive impact towards reducing landscape water demand. Cost:
The cost for this training is $100 for course plus $50 for the test.
